Research into strokes

The Stroke Research Group works on the prevention, treatment and results of patients who have suffered this disease.

Description

The research pursued by this research group has three lines of action relating to strokes:

  • Exploration of effective care and new treatments to reduce disability and mortality, as well as the social and economic burden of the disease.
  • Study of tools that simplify diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
  • Incorporation of instruments of prevention, health education and therapeutic adherence through new technologies.
