Cell Signalling and Apoptosis

Senyalització cel·lular i apoptosi a Vall d'Hebron Institut de Recerca

The group’s approach to cell signalling aims to contribute to a greater understanding of the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's, or the role of the death of receptor antagonists in the development of some cancers.

Description

The main goal of the group is the study of proteins that are capable of antagonising receptor-mediated cell death, as well as their relation to survival, differentiation and the various signalling pathways.
